The NSF EPSCOR program is expected to subsidize the participation of 20 (or possibly 40) students and early-career participants (intended as approximately 1 year since Ph.D.) in the amounts of a $1,000 travel grant, and a reimbursement of the $250 registration fee. Approval of the NSF request is still pending at this time, and a confirmation of this subsidy is expected for January 2025 (update Jan 17: an announcement is due sometime next week, with updated information on awards etc.) . Follow instructions below to be considered for this award.
Registering as an Early Career Participant
There are limited spots for funded Early Career Participants. (Jan 14: there are still 4 spots available. Register at your earliest convenience.)
You must be registered and have paid your registration fee ($250) before you will be considered for reimbursement. If unable to travel, the registration fee will be refunded in full.
Indicate your request for early-career support at time of registration.
It is first-come first-serve, so it is recommended to register as early as possible.
Contact Max Bonamente or Samuel Johnson to receive confirmation.
