Minos

Minos is the all-purpose liquid rocket engine test stand developed by Tartarus. currently, Minos is set up to support testing for pressure-fed cycle bipropellant liquid rocket engines.

Minos is made up of Six subsystems: the ethanol cabinet, the liquid oxygen cabinet, the Engine Thrust Stand (ETS), the nitrogen purge system, the pressure-fed system, and the muscle pressure system. All subsystems have been designed with the intention of being permanent and scalable. Both propellant cabinets are rated to a maximum operating pressure of 1000 psi and the ETS has a maximum operating thrust rating of 1000 pounds of force (LBF). This allows us to test larger engines without the need for redesigning the test stand for every hotfire.
