(May 28, 2026) Interim presentation for MxD Project 24-01-07 Digital Twin Toolbox for Mass Adoption led by MxD, The University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH), Auburn University, and The Innovation Machine. This presentation showcased the application of the Digital Twin Analytical Framework (DTAF) through the implementation of an operational Digital/Physical Twin of a CNC Machining Work Cell on MxD’s Factory Floor. The project team will create an Automated Machining Asset (AMA) Learning Experience that will be ‘hands-on’, with the goal to enable manufacturers to understand the concept of a DT, its benefits, initiation process, and the estimated time and cost for implementation.
