"Promotion of scientific vocations aimed at indigenous girls, boys and young students from basic and middle education in the Sierra Tarahumara, Chihuahua, to promote and foster the knowledge of biomedical sciences"
Multidisciplinary Project. Activities: Carry out activities to promote biomedical sciences through talks aimed at girls, boys and young students from primary and secondary education. Support in the organization and exhibition of conferences both in Ciudad Juárez as well in municipalities of the Sierra Tarahumara. Various outreach activities. Publish results of the project both in Spanish and in native indigenous language. Cancelled due to COVID-19.

"Evaluation of cytokine profiles in patients diagnosed with tick-borne diseases" The project focuses on the evaluation of RMSF, other rickettsiosis, and Lyme disease cytokine profiling in clinical samples from patients living in the state of Chihuahua.

"Biodiversity of arthropods of clinical and veterinary interest in vector-borne diseases in two physiographic provinces of the state of Chihuahua" The project focuses on the collection, taxonomic identification, and molecular evaluation of arbovirosis in mosquitoes and bacterial pathogens in ticks, collected throughout the state of Chihuahua.
