In WCUUSD, we define Instructional Coaching as:

Job-embedded professional learning where individual educators (or teams) set student-centered goals and partner with coaches to achieve them. Instructional coaches facilitate strengths-based growth and reflection through structured conversations where the person (or team) being coached does the majority of the talking and thinking.

Instructional coaching is voluntary, non-evaluative, and confidential.
