WCUUSD educators are participating in equity book groups during the 2022-2023 school year. Across the district we are reading the following books:

Session 2: How am I helping student process challenging content? (October 19, 2022)
Session 3: How are my biases influencing my behavior and thinking? (December 14, 2022)
Session 4: How am I centering multiple perspectives and avoiding marginalizing others? (January 17, 2023)
Session 5: How am I disrupting systems of oppression? (March 15, 2023)
Session 6: Celebration and Next Steps (Elementary schools on May 17, 2023 and U-32 on May 24, 2023)
We will celebrate our learning together in our schools. Participants can choose to engage in book alike discussions, swap books with their colleagues, and/or engage in a reflective art activity. Please bring your book. Snacks and good tunes provided.
