I am excited to work through this time together and continue learning new, amazing things. I hope you are all as excited as I am! 

About Me

I am currently in my eleventh year of teaching, seventh year at EMES. Before that, I began my career right out of college, teaching second grade in Orlando, Florida for two years. After that, I was ready to move back home and took a job in Derby Line teaching third grade for another two years. I received my Elementary Education degree at Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida, but I grew up in Newport Center, Vermont. I also earned a Master's Degree in Curriculum Design and Instruction with a concentration in Reading, from Southern New Hampshire University. 

My husband, Jake, and I live in Washington with our beautiful children, Jaxton and Charlotte. We have a dog and 12 chickens! Students will hear lots of stories about our wild family life.
