Graduation Requirements

Students must earn 22 credits to graduate, including the following requirements

• English- 4 credits

  • One credit from English I or Foundations of English 

  • One credit from English 2 or Foundations of English 

  • One credit from English 3 or Foundations of English, or English Electives 

  • One credit from English Electives

• Mathematics- 3 credits

  • One credit must be from Informal Geometry or Geometry

• Science- 3 credits

  • One credit must be from a Biological Science

  • One credit must be from a Physical Science

  • One credit from a Science elective

• Social Studies- 3 credits

  • One credit must be from US History 

  • Civics is required

• Physical Education- 4 credits unless waivers due to Dr. Ed, Behind the wheel, Sports, Medical; minimum of 2 full credits for graduation

• Driver Education- 1/2 credit

• Consumer Education- 1/2 credit (Can be met with a full year of Ag Business class)

• Health Education- 1/2 credit

• One credit chosen from electives such as music, art, foreign languages, or vocational education

Class standings include: 

• Sophomore- 5 credits

• Junior- 10.5 credits 

• Senior- 16+ credits

• Graduation- 22 credits
