Seems that locating books within the stacks are not a major pain for users with only 22% stating they have a difficult time navigating the stacks and finding the books they are looking for.
Due to this data we decided to remove campus map directions and stacks locator parts of our application
More than 50% of our surveyors say that they check the menus for dining on campus occasionally or more often than that. This seemed to be data that users would be interested in having become more accessible.
In addition, some survey respondents had connections with dining and indicated interest in connecting with Harvest Table reps to learn more about their need and share student concerns.
59% of our surveyors state that they have experienced an elevator, ramp, or doors being down more than once and this is a major accessiblity issue that needs to be confronted, since we have people that are in need of this information it seemed best to crowdsource the data so there is more real-time feedback to the community about paths on campus being accessible or not.
Within our need finding we saw that there is an interest in course rating feature and we wanted to implement that idea in our application. Below you will see what specific type of data the surveyors replied in what they seek for in classes.
