In our project analysis, we gathered participants to use our website. After giving them tasks to complete, we evaluated their response.
Our Goal was to observe how users interact with the various ways to update and add items to their inventory while also seeing if the function of recommending recipes is helpful to users.

Explain participant a scenario on adding groceries to the inventory list and preparing the grocery list. For instance, A sample scenario: you just came from a grocery shopping and you would want to input the items into your inventory, could you please show me how you would do it?

The overall average user satisfaction was 3.8 out of a rating of 5.
Ther user satisfaction of adding inventory items was a 3.5/5.
The user satisfaction of searching for recipes based on inventory was a 4.5/5.
The user satisfaction for recipe recommendations based on filters was a 3.166.

We asked the user if they would use the suggested recipes. 66.7% people said they would.

The average time to perform all 3 tasks was 1.93 seconds.
We found some correlation between overall satisfaction of our users and how many times they cooked per week. We found users that cooked frequently per week were not satisfied with the recommended recipe but the people that did not cook as much were more likely to use our recommended recipes.
We hypothesized that the cause might be that people who cook frequently have experience cooking the same meals and buy groceries around it. While the people who do not are not as experienced so our website comes in more handy. This helps us understand how to market our website to the proper demographic.
