Participated in weekly Quality Enhancement Meetings led by Primary Examiners, Search & Classification Examiners, and Supervisory Patent Examiners. Made contributions to difficult prior art searches, and applications of non-prior art patent laws in making difficult indefiniteness, written description and subject matter eligibility determinations.
Informal Volunteering Experience
In 2025, I applied to fulfill the responsibilities of a Special Awards Judge in representing the Patent and Trademark Office Society (PTOS) at the Regeneron International Science & Engineering Fair at the Maryland state and National levels.
Within this role, I provided technical leadership in award selection for monetary and certificate of achievement prizes. In being selected I was reimbursed for round-trip, lodging, and food expenses in attending the Fair in Columbus, Ohio.
