Mission:
Our team investigates pathways for reducing carbon footprint in the fields of civil engineering, material engineering, and energy. We are interested in formulating and characterizing existing or innovative and sustainable building and energy-related materials, and in developing performance-based standards for material and structures. Our computational research scope targets multiple length and time scales and incorporates theoretical and applied mechanics, uncertainty quantification and artificial intelligence techniques, and advanced numerical methods.

The lab is always searching for talented and strongly motivated researchers. Externally supported undergraduate and master students are welcome to join our research team.
