Mission Statement: Our team’s mission is to design one or more assistive devices that our primary user can independently use to raise his legs from the floor onto his bed so that he can lay comfortably rather than sit on the side of his bed.

User Profiles:
Marc is a man with cerebral palsy and experiences decreased function of the left arm. After a 2016 surgery, Marc lost much of his use of his right leg and now uses a walker or wheelchair while walking. Marc experiences lower back pain as a result of his condition and this worsens when standing in a flexed position for long periods of time. He sleeps in a queen sized bed with a bed ladder and removable bed rail.
