Reflection: Learners will complete the first page of their learning log/reflection journal which asks them to record intial thoughts on our 10 sub-questions.

Screening: Screen “The Pollinators” or similar film.

Discussion: Engage in discussion about the role of pollinators within our community and what would happen if all the pollinators disappeared.

Discussion questions:

• What most surprised you about the video?

• After watching this video, have your ideas about any of the 10 subquestions in your journal changed? How so?

• Thinking about our local community, what do you think it would look like if all of our pollinators suddenly disappeared?

• Brainstorm some ideas of things that this group could do to improve the welfare of our local pollinators. There are no bad ideas at this point.
