Design Thinking is one of my go-to processes for intervention and project creation. The process is simple to follow and lessens the stress of trying to determine the next best step to take to realize an idea.
Did you know that in practice the ideation phase is typically a 2-part phase? Ideation typically looks like divergent ideation (a lot of different ideas put on the board) and convergent ideation (narrowing down to one or a few ideas on the board). Design Thinking For Training & Development by Sharon Boller and Laura Fletcher.
CRAP is a design principle and acronym for contrast, repetition, alignment, and proximity. All four elements are integral to well designed assets and projects.
