I am passionate about healthcare and committed to making a difference. I began my journey by earning an associate degree in Culinary Arts, which led me to work in the kitchens of assisted living and skilled nursing facilities. I became a Certified Food Protection Manager and served as a Dietary Manager in skilled nursing. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I experienced firsthand the immense challenges facing healthcare and felt a deeper calling to do more. This inspired me to pursue public health, an area I had long been interested in, especially in advocating for underrepresented communities. I went on to earn my bachelor’s degree in Public Health and am now continuing my education in a Master of Public Health program, with an emphasis in Prevention and Intervention, to deepen my impact and help drive meaningful change in community health.
