For this final game I decided to create a completely original game from the ground up. I really enjoyed making the images, particularly the Cookie Monster. I knew I wanted to try an animation and am pleased with the results. I also wanted to create a game that had some kind of movement in it. The movement of the cookies from right to left along with the clouds moving from right to left makes the user feel like they are flying to the right. In this game, the player is controlled by touching the screen to move the player down and releasing the screen to move up.
The goal is to have the Cookie Monster eat as many cookies as he can in 60 seconds while avoiding the BeeBots who will kill him. The cookies and Bees appear semi-randomly throughout the screen, some only re-appear on the top portion of the screen and some only on the bottom. This keeps the distribution of cookies and Bees fairly consistent and never clumped in one area of the playing field.
Scoring was pretty straight forward in this game. As with the other mini-games, the user can record their high score and return to the launch screen by clicking the associated button.
