Monday: Today, I finalized the drawings for the various parts that we have to machine. They have been printed, updated, and noted so that when me and Luke get a chance, we can mill them.
Tuesday: Today, I did the math for how much aluminum stock I needed in order to properly machine all the parts. I discovered that I need another 2ft section, so I added it to my order. I also helped Frederick with finalizing his stock materials.
Wednesday: Today, I worked out the different standoffs that Andrew needs for the PCB and discovered that they aren't carried by McMaster-Carr. In order to simplify ordering, we will be using longer M2 screws and bolts to act as standoffs for the PCB. I ordered the parts and drove to Elmhurst to pick them up after school.
Thursday: No picture for today, but I organized my parts and the three of us discussed the PCB and the best next steps that we will take. I found the necessary JS2 connectors for the solenoids to be attached to the PCB and the corresponding headers for the ICs and Teensy, so I will order those once I get home.
