Children entering kindergarten must be 5 years of age on or before August 31, 2026.

Our Kindergarten program strives to foster a love of learning that brings a sense of joy through child-centered, play-based experiences that focus on the whole child.  We believe in partnering with families to promote independent, socially responsible, problem solvers who positively impact our community.

Kindergarten Registration Day

Kindergarten Registration Day will take place on Thursday, January 29th, with a snow date of Friday, January 30th.  

Kindergarten Screening Information: As part of Massachusetts’ requirements for all incoming kindergarten students, our school conducts a brief screening to help us understand each child’s early developmental skills. This is not a test and does not determine whether a child can enter kindergarten. Instead, it provides helpful information so we can best support each student from the very start.

Our district uses the DIAL-4 (Developmental Indicators for the Assessment of Learning, Fourth Edition) as our screening tool. The DIAL-4 looks at areas such as motor skills, early language and literacy, and social development through fun, play-based activities. The screening helps us identify strengths, notice any areas that may benefit from early support, and plan for a smooth transition into school.  Screening appointments will be made at the time of your registration appointment.  Screenings will take place on Wednesday, May 20, 2026.
