Training and Certification Resources

If you are looking to expand your remote teaching skill set, here is a list of opportunities to train and/or become certified in these digital learning tools. This is a work in progress, so check back weekly for new additions.

  • Edpuzzle has several options where you can earn digital badges in mastering Edpuzzle and other tools and pedagogy.

  • Explain Everything features a series of live and recorded webinars.

  • Kahoot has a certification program offering digital badges.

  • Pear Deck offers a series of live and recorded webinars to learn more about this tool. There is also an extensive video collection that demonstrates all of the aspects of the tool.

  • Quizlet has an extensive support page which includes a new guide and training videos

  • Screencastify also has a certification program that incorporates the Google tools into the mix.

  • Seesaw is a popular digital portfolio tool with the elementary grades. Students can use a tablet or Chromebook to record and upload videos of their work.

  • Wakelet “is a free platform that allows you to curate and organize content to save and share. You can save videos, articles, images, Tweets, links or even add your own text. Save this content in your bookmarks, or organize related items in to a collection.”
