左派舞蹈協會

高雄市左派舞蹈協會成立於2004年6月，成立宗旨是為了促進舞蹈藝術的推廣以及關心舞蹈教育的發展、強化舞蹈藝術的專業成長、以及教育社會大眾對優質藝術之接納與汲取。協會結合了高雄市立左營高中舞蹈班歷屆來的傑出校友，並聚集校友之力發展更多創作及演出，將南臺灣的舞蹈藝術深耕並發揚光大，期能為舞蹈教育的多元成長及藝術的推廣盡一份心力！

由於參與人員均任教於左營高中或於左營高中就學成長，皆與左營高中舞蹈班有著密不可分的關係與情感，因此名為「左派」。「左」字代表進取、獨立、勇於創新及精益求精的精神，也代表了本會勇於嘗試及努力創新的決心。

成立以來，協會一直努力於活絡南部的舞蹈藝術活動，建立各式的平台提供演出、編創等機會，讓校友返鄉發展所長，將其所學回饋鄉里，與地方民眾共享藝術的喜與樂。

Since the establishment in June 2004, Tso’s Dance Association has been gathering distinguished alumni and faculty of internationally acclaimed Tsoying High School Dance Program to create a professional dance environment and promote the quality of choreography and performance in Kaohsiung in southern Taiwan. It is the goal of the organization to reveal the depth and richness of dance in southern Taiwan to the world.

The Association is named “Tso” for its inseparable relationship with the Dance Division at Tsoying Senior High School. It represents commitments for progressiveness, independence, innovation and profession, which are shared by the Association.

The Association has produced solely or in partnership with Bureau of Cultural Affairs of Kaohsiung City Government and/or Chin-Lin Foundation for Culture and Arts to highly celebrate concerts, panels, and seminars.
