Christmas Celebration
It is the most wonderful time of the year when Christmas was near! Students and teachers gathered on 20 December to celebrate Christmas. Every corner of the school was filled in enthusiasm and joy, as students played games, sang Christmas songs and danced along at the school hall. Other times, they made festive arts and crafts, wrote Christmas cards and had a scrumptious feast with their homeroom teacher.

Lunchtime Activities
To create a language-rich environment that facilitates students' English learning, opportunities for students to contact English do not stop in the classrooms. Instead, they go beyond the classrooms into their leisure time. Students took part in a variety of different English activities to practise the language, with the support and encouragement of our English ambassadors from senior primary levels.
TYEHCW 25th Anniversary English Writing Competition
How grateful it is that our beloved school, Tsing Chak, has come to its 25th anniversary in God's gracious hands! As an act of celebration, students participated in an English writing competition. They wrote a variety of different text types according to their grade levels, ranging from descriptions, emails to stories surrounding the theme "Birthday Celebration". Students took part in it joyously and had great enjoyment. Good and outstanding writings were awarded.

Interview workshop with TWGHs Chen Zao Men College
In order to give our Primary 6 students an opportunity to apply what they have learnt in ELTA lessons, as well as give them a better taste of what a school interview is like, we were glad to be able to invite Secondary 1 students from TWGHs Chen Zhao Men College here. They served as interviewers, conducting trial interviews and sharing valuable experiences and tips on attending interviews with our P6 students. What an honour!
Study Tour to Singapore
As the saying goes, 'Instead of reading piles of books, why not take a step out and learn as you travel?' 26 P5 and P6 students embarked on an excursion in Singapore from 16 April to 19 April. They stepped out of their comfort zone courageously to meet Singaporeans, speak with them, visit famous attractions which tell stories about Singapore's history, culture and modern development. Of course, the must-try Singaporean dishes were one of the highlights too!

English Drama Club
In October 2024, P3-5 English teachers were asked to nominate students who show potential in acting, performing and English speaking to join the English Drama Club during ECA lesson. In the end, 20 students have been recruited to join the club. They have been attending training sessions until early June this school year. First, students learnt about the essence of drama performances, ranging from scripts to characterisation, from different communication modes to stage directions. Meanwhile, they took up different characters and roles and started rehearsing for the year-end drama performance – “The Selfish Giant”. They focused on the clear reading of lines, stage directions, use of voices and gestures. They will do a performance in the school hall on 8 July 2025.
Debate Team
Being aware of our senior primary students' English oracy proficiency, 5-10 students from each P5 class were nominated to join the English Debate Team led by Ms Janette, our ELTA. They actively participated in this ECA to learn strategies to present their stances, viewpoints and make rebuttals.
