Kiran Stacy is the Member at Large for the Southern California Chapter. She also serves as the Inland Empire County Coordinator (which includes Riverside and San Bernardino counties) and the Conservation Affairs Committee chair for the Southern California Chapter. In the past she has worked for California State Parks and for the Center for Natural Lands Management where she focused mostly on control of invasive flora and fauna as well as surveys and habitat management for various sensitive birds and plant species. Today she works as a biologist and assistant project manager for Mountainview Biological Consulting - mostly working from home writing environmental reports and performing biological desktop analysis while caring for her young daughter - but when she does get into the field she especially loves performing nesting bird and California Gnatcatcher surveys.
Erin Bell is a conservation biologist that currently works with the Maui Forest Bird Recovery Project in Maui, Hawai'i. She began her career in the wildlife field in her home state of Montana, but has held several different positions in federal, state, and non-profit organizations. She also serves as a board member for the Hawai'i Chapter of the Wildlife Society and continues to volunteer whenever she can. She earned her undergraduate degree in Biology from Carroll College in Helena, MT, her Master's degree in Zoology at Miami University in Oxford, OH, and is currently enrolled at Purdue University for her Doctorate in Forestry and Natural Resources. Over the years, Erin has enjoyed exploring different regions of the world for both work and leisure and continues to grow professionally while prioritizing balance in her life.
