Since my arrival, I have spearheaded several immersive cultural and educational initiatives, focusing on blending theoretical learning with hands-on engagement. I designed and led an interactive Easter celebration where I paired an informative presentation with a creative paper bunny origami workshop and festive games. To promote global awareness, I introduced students to the Filipino tradition of Kamayan, sharing the cultural significance of communal dining on banana leaves with one's hands. Beyond sharing my own heritage, I actively integrated into the local community by participating in a traditional pickled plum-making activity with the students. My educational approach consistently ensures that every presentation is followed by a practical activity, fostering a dynamic environment where students can learn through both listening and doing.
