For me, English in Motion is not just a title it is the heartbeat of my classroom. I truly believe that learning a new language should never be static, passive, or boring. When my students face a language barrier, I know that traditional textbooks and standard lectures are simply not enough to reach them. To break down those walls, I choose to put language into physical and creative motion.
Teaching this way requires a massive amount of extra energy, passion, and deliberate effort on my part. I don't just read a story; I become a storyteller. I use vibrant vocal characterizations, dramatic physical actions, and expressive gestures to make abstract words tangible and real for them. By bringing characters to life right in front of their eyes, I create a safe, high-energy environment where their initial fear of English completely melts away.
The Creative Classroom Language side of my approach ensures that the learning is deeply interactive and fun. Our journey never ends when the book closes. I purposely design hands-on, post-reading activities that connect directly to the story we just shared, giving the students a meaningful reason to use what they’ve learned. The real magic happens when I have them step up to the front of the room to present and speak. Watching them build the confidence to stand before their peers and express their own thoughts entirely in English is the ultimate reward. We don't just memorize grammar rules within the four corners of our classroom—we live it, we play with it, and we move with it.
