As part of the English Announcements program, students took part in a Thanksgiving-themed activity where they wrote short English messages expressing gratitude to important people in their lives. This activity was promoted and announced by students in the JSPS FM lunch radio broadcast. This activity promoted both language development and the values of appreciation and kindness within the school community.Â

On March 31, 2026, we organized an interactive English Easter egg hunt that combined fun with language learning. Students searched for hidden eggs containing English words, with Grades 1–3 practicing reading aloud and Grades 4–6 forming sentences using their discovered words. The activity was promoted through a student-led school broadcast, building excitement and encouraging participation. With rewards such as chocolates and stationery, the event created a lively environment that boosted students’ confidence and active use of English.Â
In celebration of Children's Day, the school hosted a fun-filled day where students enjoyed a variety of games and activities. Snack and drink vouchers were provided, and food trucks were invited onto the school grounds, giving students a wide selection of treats to enjoy. The event created a joyful and relaxed atmosphere, allowing students to celebrate, socialize, and make lasting memories outside the classroom.
To promote the Mother’s Day English activity, three students from the JSFM lunchtime broadcast team announced the event during the school lunch broadcast. They explained that students were required to create a 30-second video showing love and appreciation to their mother or grandmother through kind actions such as helping with dishes, laundry, preparing dinner, or giving a massage while describing their actions in English. The student broadcasters also informed everyone that successful participants who uploaded their videos to the school’s LINE channel would stand a chance to win a 600 NTD lunch or dinner voucher to enjoy a special meal with their mother or grandmother at an Italian restaurant.Â
