Online Textbook

The English Department is currently using Pearson's My Perspectives textbook as the foundation of our curriculum. This rich anthology is comprised of diverse texts and media that allow students to explore big questions and practice critical reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills. 

Students are given a consumable, paperback copy of the textbook that they should bring to class with them each day. (The pages of their books are perforated, so students may choose to rip out the unit we are working on, put it in a binder or folder, and bring only that to class, in order to literally lighten their loads.)

For students who may have forgotten or misplaced their books, there are two ways to access digital copies: 

• use a PDF of the book, linked below. 

• log onto the online textbook, via Clever.
