“It felt great to be treated as a bigger child and given the chance to do things independently.” Abhinayya remembers being a little jittery on the first day of primary school, and captured her initial impression of school in a short poem.

Every year, the P1 Orientation programme is held during the first few days of school. During this time, Primary 4 students in Teck Whye Primary School get the opportunity to be a buddy to their new Primary 1 schoolmates.

Hi, I am Aditya and I am currently studying in Victoria School. I certainly owe a lot to Teck Whye Primary School for shaping me to be the person I am today.
