Arise Foundation focuses on the empowerment and financial freedom of survivors of financial abuse through no-interest loans, employment training and job placement, wrap-around support services and advocacy.
Established in 2022 to bridge the gaps in recovery support for victim survivors of domestic and family violence, Banksia Academy was created alongside our workintegrated social impact business, Scriibed. Scriibed is a Social Traders certified business, providing safe, flexible and secure work in the digital economy.
We invest in listening to the voices of women with lived experience, and provide training, education and pathways into higher paid employment in the digital economywhilst wrapping the right supports around women survivors. We believe this aspirational approach can break cycles of abuse, and contribute to reaching critical Sustainable Development Goals for women and children.
The flow-on positive impacts for women, their children and generations to come, is incomparable to the status quo.
EAPA (Energy Accounts Payment Assistance)
If you're having difficulty paying your current household energy bill because of a short-term financial crisis or emergency, such as unexpected medical bills, or reduced income due to COVID-19, you could be eligible for Energy Accounts Payment Assistance (EAPA) $50 vouchers.EAPA vouchers are sent electronically to your energy retailer to help pay your home electricity or gas account. Applying for EAPA vouchers involves an eligibility assessment by a NSW Government representative or an approved non-government EAPA provider. EAPA voucher limits apply, and vouchers cannot be used to put your energy account into credit, on closed accounts, or if your account has already been paid.
