Training for Women Network (TWN) pledges to protect your privacy with regard to information you give us. This notice outlines what we collect, why we collect it and how long we keep it for. All data supplied is stored securely. In keeping with the new General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) we will disclose the information only when the law requires and permits it. Our lawful basis for collecting and storing your personal data are:

Information we collect and keep

Type of information: Names, addresses, date of birth, contact details, community background, employment status

Why we collect it?

Monitoring, evaluation, funder’s requirement, TWN membership communication

How long we keep it?

End of project/funder’s requirement; deleted at end of membership if requested

Type of information: Bank details, bills, PAYE & pension info

Why we collect it?

Financial processes, payment history

How long we keep it?

Depends on funder: usually 7 years after project close

Type of information: Attendance lists & copies of certificates

Why we collect it?

Verification & vouching

Type of information: Partner staff travel claims, inc. home address, car registration numbers, driving licence; pre/post questionnaires

Why we collect it?

Vouching

Type of information: Childcare registrations, inc. names of participants, carers & children 

Why we collect it?

Verification and security (duty of care)

How long we keep it?

Depends on funder: usually 7 years after project close

Type of information: Photographs

Why we collect it?

Event records

Type of information: TAUD video testimonies, with 1st names only
