Book Orders

Here is some info for when I start sending home book orders:

As always, you will have the option of purchasing your books online through the Scholastic Book Club website or by ordering through the regular flyers.  All books will be mailed to our classroom no matter how you order them. 

If you not ordering online, and are writing a check, you can put all orders together into ONE check, made payable to Scholastic.

Online Ordering

Scholastic has an online ordering system for parents to order books online.  You actually have access to MORE flyers, the Club Shop (which has tons and tons of books and other products that you can purchase at any time), and will be able to create your own personal account instead of having to remember class user names and passwords.

Go to www.scholastic.com/parentordering .  From there, click the box to register.  If you already registered earlier this year, then you can just sign in with your own username. If you had not registered yet, do that now, and create your own username and password.  You will need our class code to order from our classroom.  OUR CLASS CODE IS:  GJMT7. 

If you have any problems with setting your account up, I'd be happy to help.  Feel free to call or email me and I will get back to you as soon as I can.  You could even come in before or after school and we can set it up on one of the class computers.  I love giving families every opportunity to purchase books at a reasonable price, and Scholastic definitely helps with that.

 Once I pass out the orders:

If you are interested in purchasing any books for your families, please have all orders turned in by the order due date.  You always  have the option of sending in the paper forms or using the online ordering option. 

If you choose to order online, go to www.scholastic.com/parentordering.  You will need to follow the directions from above to enter the class code, and then create your own user name and password.   Then you can order with your credit card using their secure online site, and your order will be shipped directly to our classroom with the rest of the class orders.  As soon as they arrive, I'll hand the books out to the kids!  It's that easy!  (And just to note...continuing this year- every time a parent orders online, our classroom will receive a free book!)
