*When others in our community have lost their homes to the fires….

*When compassion and generosity are the right answers...

*When we all need exercise to keep our bodies in good shape…

*When you can help those less fortunate just by walking or doing a movement activity you enjoy...

For October, *every mile on foot and every hour spent exercising* will equal a donation to those in need.

I'm making a cash donation to SCRF (Sonoma County Resilience Fund) of an amount equal to students' exercise levels. SRCF: https://www.sonomacf.org/sonoma-county-resilience-fund/

For every mile walked or ran per student, $.10 goes to SCRF.

For every hour of exercise, $.25 goes to SCRF. This could be bike riding, dance, gymnastics, weightlifting, playing basketball or volleyball, skateboarding, disc golf and more.

You choose. It should get your heart beating faster or be something that makes your stronger physically or both.

I'm putting forth a maximum donation amount of $500. Can we reach it?

The amounts may seem small, but a little each day, for 240 students, for 30 days, can really add up; that is, if we all do our part. The more you do, the more it helps.

For example, if 20 students exercised for 3 hours each week, over 4 weeks, that equals = $60 dollars. If each class did this, $60 x 8 classes = $480.

The "per mile" and "per hour" values may go up if others join in to sponsor you, students! (If your family wants to, let me know.)

This starts Monday, October 5th and finishes October 30th, running for 4 weeks.
