The applicants must be a member in good standing, or the son or daughter or legal ward of a member of a United Steelworkers, District 10 (Eastern) local union participating in the Scholarship Program; or the son or daughter or legal ward of a disabled or old age retiree or deceased member of an affiliated local union who was in good standing with the United Steelworkers at the time of their retirement or death. Applicants must be in the graduating classes in the year the scholarships are awarded. Applicants who have completed one semester or more at any college or university are ineligible.
4-year Scholarships (6 of them) each with a total of $4,000.00 ($1,000.00 per year)
