Literacy Crusaders

Literacy Crusaders is a Service Club that matches High School mentors with 2nd grade students to help boost their reading scores and build confidence in learning. The mentor and mentee work together using fun and educational books designed to improve reading skills. Our goal is for the mentee to improve his/her reading skills while developing a lifelong love of reading. Results from previous years have shown that more than half of the students in the literacy program were reading at grade level by the end of the school year.
