Policies:
Be in your seat when the bell rings
Have your completed homework out
Absolutely NO cellphones or water bottles in the classroom
Disciplinary Issues will be dealt with accordingly as they arise and will include but not be limited to:
Oral Warning
Sentence Writing
Detention with an email to the parent
Referral to the principal or dean of students
Behaviors that may result in disciplinary action: excessive talking, not doing homework, repeatedly forgetting class materials, being disrespectful, inappropriate behavior/language, tardiness to class, etc.
Absences:
If a student is absent, it is his/her responsibility to find out what was missed. Find a classroom buddy who can keep you informed of what was missed.
Google Classroom will be utilized to inform absent students of missed classwork. Students are expected to look at Google Classroom when absent.
Previously assigned work that is due on a day a student is absent will be due the day the student returns. Chasing down assignments is not in my skill set.
Assignments that were posted before an absence are expected to be turned in upon return to school. (Ex. You were at school on Tuesday when HW was assigned, you're absent on Wednesday and you return on Thursday....Tuesday's assignment is due on day you return...in this case, Thursday).
The district policy regarding make-up work will otherwise be followed.
