Trigonometry is the course designed for students that have satisfactorily completed Algebra II in a college preparatory mathematics sequence, but in need for additional review of Algebra II topics before taking Precalculus. Trigonometry is a two-semester course, which provides the essential background for Precalculus. The major areas of study include topics from Algebra II and Trigonometry. The major areas of study include the following: solving equations and inequalities, solving systems, polynomial functions, rational expressions and equations, quadratic functions, logarithms and exponential functions, unit circle and the circular functions, right triangle trigonometry, trigonometric identities.
