In order to help you navigate the technical side of supporting your students’ learning at home we have developed a step by step guide to help you get connected to the technology you need to access. Please use this information guide to log into the different platforms your student(s) may need to manage. Remember that Chromebooks are available through your child's school to optimize access.
Clever Login Steps
Go to the TUSD Clever portal: http://clever.com/in/torrance. (**Please note: You must use this specific URL to access TUSD's Clever portal).
Click the “Log In with Google” button.
Type in your student's email address - 7-digit ID#@etusd.org (You MUST add the @etusd.org or it will not work).
Example Student Email: 1234567@etusd.orgEnter your student’s password, which is the 7-digit ID# with two capital letters. If you or your student do not know their email/password, please contact your student's teacher.
Example Student Password: 1234567ABIf the account is not recognized, sign out of any other Google accounts. Make sure the only email signed in is your student's TUSD account.
For iPads, you can download the Clever app from the App Store. Other tablets should use their internet web browser to access Clever at http://clever.com/in/torrance.
Google Services
(Classroom, Gmail, Meet and Drive)
All Google Services are available on Clever. For consistency, please log into Clever (http://clever.com/in/torrance) to access Google Services.
You may also log into Google with your student’s account. Go to Google.com and first make sure to sign out of any other accounts. Then, click the blue sign in button and enter the student email (id#@etusd.org) and password (7-digit ID# with two capital letters).
Example:
Student Email - 1234567@etusd.org
Password - 1234567ABYou can access all Google services through Google by clicking on the Google apps (or "waffle") button at the top right corner of your browser.
Savvas/Pearson Products (all Pearson Textbooks)
Savvas/Pearson is our elementary District-Adopted textbook publisher for both math and social studies.
Pearson/Savvas products must be accessed through Schoology.

i-Ready
i-Ready is the online assessment and instruction program that our district has adopted for elementary students. Once students take benchmark diagnostic tests (at the beginning, middle, and end of the school year), students are automatically assigned individualized lessons that promote academic growth in math and reading.
i-Ready must be accessed through Clever.

For additional information, visit the i-Ready Family Center by clicking here or on the i-Ready logo (on the left). The page is available to be viewed in several languages including (Spanish, Urdu, Vietnamese, Chinese, and Korean). Here is a link to Family Resources in Multiple Languages.
**To access i-Ready, please use Google Chrome as your web browser. i-Ready won't work on Safari.**
Troubleshooting:
Most of our available support is for district-issued devices, such as Chromebooks. However, here are a few common issues that may be affecting access:
Parental Controls: If parental controls have recently been applied or updated, they may be interfering with the student's ability to view lessons. Families may need to adjust these settings. For additional troubleshooting, I recommend visiting i-Ready's support page.
Clever Login: A frequent issue we see is students forgetting that they must log in through Clever. They may be working fine for a while but then encounter a login screen and attempt to sign in through a method we don’t use. It’s always helpful to remind them to access i-Ready through Clever.
Epic
Epic is an online reading program for grades 3-5 used to support students academic progress in reading. It has a large library with online books, audio books, videos, and more.
Epic can be accessed through Clever.
Click on the icon in Clever to access Epic.
Enter your teacher's class code.
Click on your name to access your Epic Library. Happy reading!
Learning A-Z (a.k.a. Raz-Kids)
Raz-Kids (also known as Learning A-Z) is an online reading program for grades TK-2 used to support students academic progress in reading. It allows students to read various books online with comprehension quizzes.
ST Math (only available for some school sites)
ST Math is a digital math program that allows students to practice various math skills by playing math games.
Students must go through Clever to access ST Math.
ST Math WILL NOT work on Android Tablets. On iPads, you will need BOTH the ST Math app AND the Clever app to log in.
