Motivation to Read Videos

We want children to love reading and have the desire to read more. We also know that student motivation is a key factor in successful reading. However, in order to support and build reading motivation, there are several things to consider and ask:

Does your child need help reading?
Does your child think reading is important?
Does your child get to choose what they read?
Are there different things to read (articles, magazines, graphic novels, informational books, digital texts)?
Does your child know how to enjoy and understand what they read?
Is reading seen as a reward?
