Michigan Learning Channel

The Michigan Learning Channel is a free statewide public television partnership offering instructional content to support the education of students and to provide alternative resources for families and teachers. Designed to enrich school learning, the instructional is aligned with Michigan’s educational standards and follows widely accepted sequences for mastering skills throughout the year. The lessons, generally about a half-hour each, are presented by a diverse group of educators, delivered as if the teacher is in a classroom setting. Nearly every program has supplemental educational activities and resources to build on the lesson. This programming is being broadcast in Tuscola County on WDCQ 19.5 and is also available as live or on-demand online viewing.

Parent and Family Digital Learning Guide

Michigan Department of Education has released a guide which aims to help all parents and caregivers, including those who have limited experience with digital tools, those who are expert with these tools, and anywhere in between. This guide focuses on empowering you with information and resources to improve your child's opportunity for successful and safe digital learning.

K-12 Connect Virtual Tutoring

GVSU K-12 Connect Virtual Tutoring is available for any student in grades K-12 beginning. This program is a free, virtual 1:1 tutoring/homework support service in which students can harness additional learning support through connecting with university students, faculty, or staff with expertise in various subjects through Zoom. Whether you are looking for a one-time appointment or recurring, weekly sessions, the tutoring center can accommodate any student's tutoring needs.
