3D Printer

CHS Library maintains 3D Printers for FACULTY and STUDENT use.

Faculty may reserve the use of the 3D printer with the librarian. Collaboration on appropriate activities with the librarian is available and recommended.

Students may request printing of a 3D design from the library after a consultation with the librarian. 

How to Use:

• 3D Designs may be sourced from online repositories such as "Thingiverse" (.STL or .OBJ file).

• 3D Designs may be generated using online tools like TinkerCad or the Windows tools 3D Builder and Paint 3D.

Printer Info:

• The printers the library maintains are a DREMEL 3D20 and DREMEL 3D40.

• The printers use DREMEL 1.75mm PLA Filament. Multiple colors are available.

• The printers use a 4mm brass nozzle extruder.
