Day 11- 9/05/15 The Wild Southern Oregon Coast

Today we drove Hwy 101 south to Brookings. Brookings Harbor is the only spot in the continental US that was bombed by Japan in WW II. It is 6 miles from the California border.

Arguably the most beautiful drive along the entire Oregon coast, there are lots of places to stop and view the awe-inspiring rock formations and cobalt blue ocean.
