Day 12- 9/06/15 Cape Blanco State Park & Port Orford
We were able to watch a spouting whale this morning right from our breakfast table at WildSpring Guest Habitat. Although breakfast is served, it is not your typical B&B. There are five separate luxury cabins on five acres of Old Native American grounds. It is designed to create a peaceful, close-to-nature environment.

The Grounds
Cape Blanco State Park is at Oregon's westernmost point. The beautiful Cape Blanco lighthouse sits atop a bluff with spectacular and breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean. It is the oldest continually operating light station on Oregon's coast.
Port Orford is a small and friendly town. The beach at Battle Rock Park is very picturesque with several impressive seastacks and hard-packed black sand.
The dock is the only open-water port on the Oregon coast and one of six "dolly" ports in the world where recreational and commercial fishing boats are hoisted into and out of the water daily.
