Classroom is a Google service which you can use with your personal Gmail account as well as the Google account given by TLS.
You can log into any Google services with your personal Gmail account for your personal use. Just be aware that some core features that your unique TLS email id gives will be unavailable.
All classes by TLS are assigned to you according to the unique TLS email id and not your personal Gmail account.
However, you may use any account to log into Zoom.
If you are seeing this error message, that means, the admin had accidentally assigned you to a class. Although the admin has removed the invitation, Google Classroom has already sent the invite email, as the emails are auto-generated. Kindly ignore the email inviting you to join the class.
If this was a class that you have signed up for, please contact the administrator to add you into the class.
Generally, you can join your class via the class code (diagrams below). However, TLS has decided to disable this option. Therefore, if you do not see any of your classes that you have registered for, please contact the administrator.
1. Click on the plus (+) sign at the top bar
2. Enter the class code given by the administrator
If you can't see your classes, please ensure that you have logged into your Google account using the unique email id given by TLS.
You can check which account you are signed into by hovering over the avatar icon at the top right corner below the search bar (Example 1)
Or you can click the avatar icon and you can see the current log in details in the drop down box (Example 2)
The principle is the same on the Google Classroom app on the phone (Example 3)
TIP: In most browsers (Chrome, Edge, Opera, etc.). every TAB can be logged in differently. Be sure you're signed in to the correct Google account when you open a new TAB. The current account can sometimes be switched to your default account without you noticing. So make sure you check your login status (Example 1 or Example 2) in the active TAB.
If you are logged in and still cannot see the relevant classes that you have signed up for at TLS, please contact the administrator immediately.
UPDATE: Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge now comes with a PROFILE option. Please create a profile for your TLS email ID (e.g. name@tungling.org) and turn sync on (if it is your personal device or if this is a shared device but you are allowed to create a personal workspace). Then switch to your profile before logging in.

Google Classroom is supported by Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer, Opera, and Safari. The Google Classroom app is also available on Android and Apple iOS mobile devices. Google Classroom is especially suited for Chromebooks.
If you are not seeing your documents, try refreshing the page (red arrow) and wait. Sometimes, it will take a while to load if there are too many images and links involved.
It is recommended that you use Zoom on your laptop/pc/mac as it is easier for you to be assigned to breakout rooms.
You will need Google Classroom especially to download the class notes, to do your test and to submit your coursework. When doing your test, you will asked to be on Zoom. Where possible, you can use 2 devices. But if your device is able to handle it, you may have Zoom and Classroom opened on the same device at the same time.
