Discussion with Mentors
Step 1: On the first meeting we discuss about our interests and what are we going to do in our PYPx. After the discussion, my preference is making a storybook so students can enjoy listening/reading a story in Bahasa Indonesia.
Step 2: I started making an Indonesia Book pre-survey and after I was done making my pre-survey, I started making appointments with Ms. Yuan, Ms. Anderi and Ms. Stefanie.

Discussion with Mentors
Step 3: Understanding the information I need from the survey. I started making the draft for my book, the hard part was how to lead the story from the beginning to to the climax.
Step 4: After I got the draft approval from my mentors, I embarked on making my book, and the first thing I made is the cover page for my book. The hard part was how to make it look real and interesting.
Discussion with Mentors
Step 5: I pasted my text from my draft into book creator. But if I just pasted it there will be less style. So I made the text interesting first then I pasted it into the book creator.
Step 6: I started making illustrations for my book and I had the same challenge. I need to make the pictures look real and interesting.
Discussion with Mentors
Step 7: I started finalizing my book by checking the grammar and vocabulary with my mentors and my parents.
Step 8: I started making my campaign slides for 2 days and made the appointment to do my campaign with Year 2&4. The campaign was a success and went well since when I asked questions to them they answered well.
Campaign
Year 2D and 2N were the first class that I showed the survey results of the problems the students have in Bahasa Indonesia. This was so as to convince them to join my storytelling and to promote my storybook. The students were active in answering my questions and they understood my campaign.
I also went to year 4 to do the same campaign. During the campaign in year 4 the students were not really active. I needed to explain more in English so, they could understand the campaign.
Discussion with Mentors
Step 9: There are some inputs from my parents about the story, so I exercised my open-mindedness by listening to others and making some adjustments to the story.
Step 10: On February 6th until 10th I told my story to the primary students.
Storytelling
I started storytelling on Tuesday, and I did the story telling for 7 levels KB up to Year 6. But I was too nervous when I presented with Year 5&6. But then I gathered my confidence and I managed to presented it to Year 5&6.
