Choir

Choir is a year-long, after school singing group that meets once a week on Thursdays for any 3rd, 4th, or 5th grader that would like to join.  We start in October and end after our last concert in June.  We learn to sing more advanced choral music than we can get to in regular music class and then perform that music at concerts.

If your student is interested, be on the lookout for a permission slip in September or early October when choir signups happen.  If you miss the signups, students may join late.  It is helpful if the students can stay for the entire year since we are counting on voices for performances.  If that can't happen, please remember to let me know directly so that I can plan music purchasing and voicing appropriately (and so your student stops getting those pesky notes to come to choir).

We typically meet from 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm on Thursdays unless there is a holiday, conferences, or Miss Tibbetts is sick.
