Calendar
Here is the calendar of events for Music classes. I will try to keep it as updated as possible throughout the year as concerts get put on the books and events get added. Please look for emails from Skyward as well.
See below for the list of concert dates and times (note that some are still being finalized and dates are subject to change, so check back often).
Note that concerts are listed for a specific grade level or group. Concerts will typically start at 6:00 PM, but double check times as there are some exceptions to this start time. Doors to seating typically open at 5:35 pm for most concerts at East Olympia as chairs start getting set up at 4:45 pm (help is always appreciated). Always feel free to reach out if you have questions.
November 6, 2025 - Veterans' Day Concert (5th Grade performs), 6 pm in the East Olympia gym/stage. Community and Veterans welcome
December 9, 2025 - Band, Choir, and Orchestra Concert, 6 PM in the East Olympia gym/stage.
January 15, 2026 - Citizenship/Dr. King Concert (4th Grade performs), 6 pm in the East Olympia gym/stage. Community welcome and we are having a Pet Food Drive for Joint Animal Services of Lacy and Passionate Pussycats Feline Rescue.
February 25, 2026 - South End Band Festival - EOE Band with LRE, PGS, BMS, and THS bands perform in the Tumwater High School Gym, 7 pm
February 10, 2026 - "Pajama Party" 1st Grade performance, 5 pm in the East Olympia gym/stage
February 12, 2026 - "Flakes!" 2nd Grade performance, 5 pm in the East Olypmia gym/stage
February 19, 2026 - "Bugz! the Musical" 3rd Grade concert, 6 pm in the East Olympia gym/stage
March 4, 2026- Music Festival for 5th grade students with THS Concert Choirs, Littlerock Elementary, and Peter G. Schmidt Elementary at the Washington Center during the day (This is still in the works and not set in stone at this time)
May 7, 2026 (tentative) - Kindergarten Concert (this will coincide with the Kindergarten Play Day during the day with no evening concert)
May 26, 2026 - Band, Choir, and Orchestra Concert, 6 pm in the East Olympia gym/stage
May 28, 2026 - Fiesta (1st, 2nd, and 3rd Grade) Community Event to celebrate Spanish and music. Time to be shared at a later date
