Welcome to Camp T-Square
Created by the American Institute of Architects of Eastern Oklahoma, join us for an engaging summer program where students can practice their design skills. Each day is chock-full of hands-on activities to teach kids how to evaluate and synthesize information, how to collaborate, and how to use creative problem-solving techniques when confronted with real-world dilemmas.
What is it about? Camp T-Square provides students an immersive experience in architecture to help them gain a new perspective of their city.
Who is this camp for? Rising 5th -6th Graders
Who made this camp possible? This camp and the materials you received are made possible by AIA Eastern Oklahoma. Established in 1961, AIA Eastern Oklahoma, a Chapter of The American Institute of Architects, represents the professional interests of over 400 licensed architects, emerging professionals, and allied construction and design professionals in the eastern portion of the state. Members adhere to a code of ethics and professional conduct that assures the client, the public, and colleagues of an AIA-member architect's dedication to the highest standards in professional practice.
How do I participate?
Take our Pre-Survey before you start on any materials. You can find this at the top of the Day 1 page.
This is a self-paced camp, but we encourage you to go through each day in order.
Participate in any and all activities you're able to. We've listed out all necessary supplies and many activities use only items that can be easily found from home or the grocery store (paper, tape, Popsicle sticks, etc.).
Have a great experience and take lots of pictures to share with us! You can tag us on social media (@tulsastem & aiaeok), email them to firstname.lastname@example.org, or upload them on the post-camp survey.
Take our post-survey and let us know what you thought.
