The purpose of the Dual & Concurrent Enrollment Programs at TWHS is to provide an opportunity for qualified high school students to enhance their education by enrolling early in college courses. Students have the opportunity to earn high school and college credit simultaneously. TWHS partners with College of the Sequoias and West Hills College and the State Center Community College District.
Dual Enrollment is an opportunity to take challenging courses and accelerate educational opportunities
Participation in Dual Enrollment may ease the transition from high school to college by giving students a sense of what college academics are like
Dual Enrollment is a cost-efficient way for students to accumulate college credits
Dual Enrollment courses are paid for and are taken on campus
Most Dual Enrollment classes count towards general education college credits and graduation requirements in high school
Concurrent Enrollment is an early college program that provides high school students the opportunity to enroll in college courses.
College credit earned can be applied towards students' college records and may also count towards fulfilling high school graduation requirements.
Concurrently enrolled will be enrolled in college courses with regular college students.
