Damaged or Lost Books

When a book is damaged or lost, it is the responsibility of the student to take care of it as soon as possible. Students who lose or damaged a book will be given a library community service task to complete as an act of personal and community responsibility.

These library community service tasks are negotiable and include, but are not limited to cleaning off tables, dusting the shelves, organizing materials and supplies, vacuuming the library, and repairing books. The more expensive the book or the more books lost, the more community service may be done.
