As AI continues to shape the future, it is essential to recognize both its potential and limitations. AI-generated suggestions should be viewed as a starting point rather than a final answer; they can enhance efficiency but should never replace human expertise. Most importantly, no AI model is 100% accurate, which reinforces the need for critical thinking and informed decision-making.

Ms. Chua discussed strategies and tools for combating misinformation in digital classrooms and enhancing students' media literacy skills. She also highlighted how Britannica's trusted, high-quality educational content can be a valuable resource for fostering meaningful discussions and providing learners with expert-verified information.
Dr. Barrot examined the advantages, limitations, and challenges associated with Generative AI (GenAI). He also outlined the principles for integrating GenAI into educational systems and discussed its future directions.
As most students today benefit from Generative AI, it is crucial for non-teaching personnel, particularly those in libraries, to adapt to these changes and engage with them responsibly and ethically.
For example, we can utilize Generative AI to provide our constituents with the information they need, such as references or citations. However, we also have the responsibility to verify this information by applying the Three Practices of Fact-Checking: taking bearings, lateral reading, and click restraint.
We must navigate GenAI responsibly by using it wisely and avoiding over-reliance. This approach ensures that we enhance our critical thinking skills.
